What is Legacy Modernization?
Legacy modernization is the process of upgrading outdated software — re-platforming, refactoring or rebuilding it — so it is secure, maintainable and able to integrate with modern systems, without disrupting the business it runs.
Modernisation is rarely a big-bang rewrite; it is usually incremental, wrapping and replacing parts of a legacy system while it keeps running. Done well, it reduces risk and cost while unlocking new capabilities like AI and cloud scale.
