What is Microservices?
Microservices is an architecture that builds an application as a set of small, independently deployable services, each owning one capability. It lets teams scale and ship parts of a system separately.
Microservices improve scalability and team autonomy but add operational complexity (networking, observability, data consistency). They suit large systems and organisations; smaller products often start as a well-structured monolith and split only where it pays off.
